One bit wonder: Spaghettini with Thai anchovy..

Even though ‘Farang’(so-called thai word for foreigners) don’t seem to like Anchovy, we, thai people, take it serious! When you’re broke, a fried anchovy filet with a bowl of rice is considered ‘paradis sur terre’. Absolutely, my kitchen(i mean, my homemade food) do possess tons of anchovy-inspired recipes that are tres easy to cook and super easy to eat.

Let’s try with this one first.

SPAGHETTINI WITH THAI ANCHOVY

Prep time: 5 min, Total time: 10 min

What you’ll need:

spaghettini (way thinner than spaghetti)

a filet of thai anchovy

basil leaves

garlic

extra virgin olive oil

Let’s start:

1. Cook spaghettini in well-salted boiling water.

2. Meanwhile, Fry a filet of thai anchovy in a pan or a wok. fluffy or crispy, up to u!

3. In a new pan, add 2 gloves of garlic and a fried-filet into the hot extra virgin olive oil, smash them with a spoon.

4. add drained spaghettini, mix them up

5. no seasoning, please. leave it to our hero ‘thai anchovy’

Tadaaaannn…Try it! And you’ll know why i call this dish a ‘One Bit Wonder‘!!
